This portrait exudes happiness. Have any of you ever looked at an animal and started speaking for that animal, or giving it a voice? My friend is an amazing story teller. We were on a hike in Yosemite, CA and a squirrel jumped onto the path. My friend immediately started telling me a story about this creature and it’s life. We laughed the whole time. The squirrel’s name was Jimmy. I tried to capture the joy of the moment in this painting. I hope you enjoy the light, the whimsy, and it helps you smile!
