This painting was created from a photo taken at Red Rock Canyon State Park in Nevada.  The trail with the rock formation was Sandstone Quarry. This hike has many white sandstone marvels with various colors throughout. I highly enjoyed the shades of yellow and blue I was able to use while recreating this rock piece.
