This painting was inspired by the flowers in Kauai, Hawaii. My mom and I were walking around in the morning on our last day of the trip and came across this beautiful flower. The Bird of Paradise reminded me of my mom’s aunt and her of her childhood. I was happy to capture this magical moment with vibrant colors.
