“Watering Hole” was painted from a photograph taken in Joe’s Valley, Utah. This area is known for it’s rock climbing and bouldering. While on an extended climbing trip, I stumbled across this beautiful rock formation. It appeared to be a baby or small elephant drinking water out of a watering hole. What do you see in the rock and textures?

In this beautiful rock formation, I definitely see a baby elephant enjoying a cool drink of water. The colors are impressive.
