This was painted from a photograph taken at the Ice Show in Fairbanks, Alaska. This day was cold and took my breath away. As night fell, the ice sculptures were illuminated by different colored lights. My friend was walking among the sculptures taking pictures and I caught him in a moment of pure delight. He travels all over the world and brings joy everywhere he goes.
